In April 2011, Odin Feldman Pittleman PC was on the cutting edge of technology with their adoption of QR code technology. A QR, or Quick Response, code is a two dimensional barcode that can be read by a smartphone equipped with a camera. QR codes can make printed materials interactive by connecting the scanner with a website, contact information, calendar appointment, text message or even location information for use with the smartphone's GPS system.
After investigating the technology on their own, Odin Feldman Pittleman consulted with ASL for guidance on the most effective size, color, production method, and positioning for the professionally printed QR code. The firm then ordered business cards with the code for one single attorney. When these cards were received, the firm was so pleased with them that we then put a process in place that allowed the firm to quickly and efficiently add similar QR codes to the other 55 attorneys' business cards.
Odin Feldman Pittleman PC decided to feature QR codes on the back side of each attorney's business card. Each attorney had the option of a QR code that either links the user to the attorney's bio page on the firm's website or transfers the attorney's contact information into the smartphone.
